Interview with Danielle Smith - News Talk 770 (CHQR)
Earlier this week, I had the opportunity and pleasure to be a guest on the Danielle Smith Show on 770 CHQR in my capacity as a New Humble Community representative. I've been interviewed about the school a few times now for television, but this was the first time on live radio. It's both encouraging and exciting for us to be able to reach a new and wider audience in this way.

This was definitely a positive and engaging experience. It was gratifying to speak with someone in this context who had done some research on the subject on public charter schools. Danielle Smith had some direct and even difficult questions to answer, but those are exactly what we want people to be informed about. New Humble Community School will be a school of choice in our area, and we want families to be aware and informed about these topics. How many students will be in classes? How are public charter schools funded? What is different about this school compared to other local public schools?
I always enjoy being able to share information and get people interested in agricultural literacy and how it connects to so many other important areas of life. Having Danielle Smith say she expects to hear more about this topic in the future was great. It's definitely going to continue to grow in mainstream consciousness; our school is poised to be at the forefront of this crucial movement.
